1. What is ePTFE?
Polytetrafluoroethylene (or PTFE) is a particularly versatile ivory-white opaque plastic fluoropolymer. It is formed by the free radical polymerization of many tetrafluoroethylene molecules and is suitable for a wide range of applications in different industries such as medical, dental, aerospace, food and beverage industries, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, etc.
FluoroflexTM ePTFE is a full polymer with excellent chemical and physical properties: excellent chemical resistance, high temperature stability, good dielectric and non-stick properties and excellent resistance to mechanical property degradation under harsh conditions.
